Collectible Motorcar of Atlanta has done it again with this gorgeous resto-mod, a 1925 Willys Overland Model 90. This beautiful restoration has plenty of high-quality additions in order to make it drive like a much newer vehicle. Outfitted in a slick tan and bronze paint job with a black top, this piece of history has been well kept and done right. Another touch you will notice is the tinted windows – which are actual tinted glass and not just a film put over the clear. This allows for a retro look, while keeping the cabin cool from the sun. The engine does have an Air Conditioning condenser attached, but it is not hooked up to any lines.
The engine on this beast is where she really shines. A 327 cu in with L79 Competition Cam is backed by a beefy Turbo 400 transmission with shift kit is what powers this Model 90. Underneath the car is also a sight to see, with a complete custom tubular chassis and not to mention the suspension. Independent rear suspension out of a Jaguar and leaf spring front suspension connects the wheels to the frame in order to make a very comfortable and solid ride. Rack and pinion steering allow for tight and honest steering, and 4-wheel disc brakes allow for proper stopping power. This car was made to be driven, and has the power and suspension to do so. Being a fully steel body car, these are hard to come by. Especially in this condition with the tasteful modifications that our consignor has done, this is one of the more street-able vehicles from 1925.
