This is a bold hardtop, and so the first thing they did was make sure to upgrade it to a clean white pearl. More than just look vibrant, the paint has a solid shine that helps showcase the good panel alignment. Plus, we love these second-generation Nova's because they perfectly added some of Chevy's '60s-style muscle car aggression without ever losing its sleeper attitude. The outstretched front fenders, straight sides with body creases, and confidently crisp rear end add a substantial look to this smaller/lighter package. And they made sure the classic chrome bumpers were mirror-like so you take notice of how they hug the form. It really is a well-done detailed style, right down to the classic rally wheels that also look so good against the paint.
The interior does a great job of blending vintage and new. For example, the upholstery is a fresher investment, but the style of the seats and door panels keep the detailed look of the Nova's factory package. The radio has the classic style, but it's a modern AM/FM digital tuner. And the factory heater controls are your gateway to an upgraded R134a air conditioning system. Plus, the factory steering wheel, and Hurst shifter get your enthusiast heart pumping.
The engine bay has clean inner walls and plenty of polished components to make sure that you'll love showing it off. And this is a true powerhouse that starts with a EFI 350 cubic-inch V8. It gives you a big power in a small package. It has been upgraded further with a Holley Sniper EFI, a performance intake, and headers that feed the dual exhaust. You'll also spot good supporting components, like electric fan and a Serpentine Conversion with black brackets and accessories. The V8 is a strong runner, and the five-speed manual transmission gives you control over the power and its soundtrack. As you look underneath, you'll spot solid investment in an upgraded Church boys front suspension. In fact, control is well in hand with features like power steering, power brakes, and front discs.
