If you are looking for a Jensen Interceptor you can drive anywhere and have fun with this car has to be on your list. The Jensen was designed and marketed to the elite, wealthy, and famous personalities of the 60s and 70s. These cars still have a huge following and it is hard to find one you don't have to sink 40k into. This car has an amazing history the original owner owned the car until 1977 and then was sold to a couple that owned it for 45 years. The 3rd owner acquired it in 2022 and has upgraded a lot of features on the car to make it road worthy in today's traffic. The cooling system has been up graded to an electric cooling fan with automatic thermostat. It has a new carburetor and all fluids have been changed including the rear diff. The Brakes have had new hoses and has been flushed with fresh fluid. This car runs and drives great and is a solid driver quality. Amazingly everything works on the car including the A/C.

This 1972 Jensen Interceptor is a driver quality car finished in white over black leather and is powered by a 440ci Chrysler V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car was acquired by the 2nd owner's late spouse in 1977 and underwent a refurbishment in 1993 before being placed into storage in 2007. Features include 15″ alloy wheels, air conditioning, power windows, and a sliding sunroof. Service in preparation for the sale included replacing the carburetor and linkage, battery, and headlights along with draining the fuel tank and performing an oil change. This Interceptor is now offered by the 3rd owner with removed factory parts, tools, manufacturer's literature, memorabilia, partial service records, and a clean Georgia State title.

The Interceptor was styled by Carrozzeria Touring of Italy and features chrome bumpers, quad headlights, dual side mirrors, a black vinyl top, and a hatchback rear window. This example was reportedly finished from the factory in Cerise and was repainted in white in 1993. A sliding sunroof is fitted, the brake lights have been modified, and the headlights are said to have been replaced in preparation for the sale. Corrosion and bubbling paint can be seen on the lower rear quarter and rocker panels.

Factory 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. .

The cabin features seats upholstered in worn black leather along with a matching dashboard and door panels. Amenities include power door locks and air conditioning. The power antenna, air horns, and radio are inoperative, the power windows work intermittently, the leather upholstery on the driver's seat is torn in various places, and cracks can be seen on the driver-side door panel, the center console wood trim, and the rear speaker enclosures.

A two-spoke steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,200-rpm redline, and center-mounted gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 13k miles, and total mileage is unknown.

The 440ci Chrysler V8 was reportedly overhauled as part of the aforementioned 1993 refurbishment and is stamped HC10578, which matches the engine number indicated on the car's data plate. Service performed in preparation for the sale included replacing the carburetor, carburetor linkage, and battery along with draining the fuel tank and changing the oil. The car was fitted with an electric pusher cooling fan which is currently inoperative as well as an updated alternator. Engine blow-by is noted along with various fluid leaks.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an A727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic transmission that is said to have been refreshed when the engine was overhauled. The transmission and differential both leak fluid. Corrosion on the exhaust system, chassis, and other underbody components can be seen in additional photos included in the gallery below.

A copy of a 1993 article written by the owner's spouse for an enthusiast magazine is included in the sale along with removed factory parts, a tool roll, manufacturer's literature, service records, wiring diagrams, and historical photos of the car.
