Collectible Motor Car of Atlanta is proud to present this 1971 Jeep Jeepster Commando. The Jeepster was first produced by Kaiser Jeep in 1966 to compete with the Toyota Land Cruiser, Ford Bronco, and the International Scout. The Jeepster remained in production after AMC (American Motors Corporation) bought the Jeep line from Kaiser in 1970. This Jeepster is an ancestor to the ever-so-popular modern Jeep family produced by Chrysler, with Jeep being one of the most recognized vehicles on the planet. Under the hood sits a peppy 231c.i V6 backed by a 4-speed manual floor shift transmission. The Jeepster was originally red but now finished in a smooth Olive Green complimented by a fresh White convertible top. The interior boasts White seats with contrasting Black piping. The Commando is a 4x4 from the factory with all components in-tact. Classic SUV's are on fire with prices skyrocketing. This rare, dependable cruiser is in investment-quality condition and would be a nice addition to any collection. Inquire today for more details.
