This 1966 Cadillac Eldorado convertible is finished in white over red leather and powered by a 429ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional features include a white soft top with a matching boot, aftermarket 15″ wire wheels, Twilight Sentinel headlight control, power accessories, cruise control, automatic climate control, and an adjustable steering column. The car is finished in white with a matching convertible top and boot. The paint is all original and does show some wear that would be expected for its age. Exterior details include cornering lamps, polished rocker panel trim, and Twilight Sentinel automatic lighting that allows the headlights to turn off up to three minutes after the driver exits the vehicle.
Aftermarket 15″ 48-spoke wire wheels are wrapped in 235/70 Coker American Classic whitewall radial tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The interior features front and rear bench seats finished in perforated red leather with a matching dashboard, carpets, and door panel inserts as well as wood trim accenting the doors. Equipment includes power-adjustable front seats, an AM/FM stereo, power-operated door and vent windows, a tilting and telescoping steering wheel, automatic climate control, and power door locks. A three-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer along with a clock and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 27k miles, with the actual total unknown.
The 429ci V8 was factory rated at 340 horsepower when new, and drives the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
