The original hot rod is still just a wild and affordable as ever. This 1927 Buick Roadster gets all the iconic pieces right, but it still goes for individual style with a slick appearance and a powerful V8 that's leading the way.
This custom Roadster looks unique because it's set way back from the front wheels. The black headlights are like lone dual pods hovering above the front axle. Then there's plenty of airspace before the radiator shows up. The chassis might not be any longer than a T-Bucket, but the effect is a stretched and streamlined appearance that looks like a Top Fuel Dragster for the streets. Plus, the super-slick American flag wrap and chrome wheels give this one a touch of speedy class. As you look over the pictures, you might be wondering why this one looks so modern and fresh...well, that's because it was built in modern times!
Nothing goes better with an American flag wrap than a black interior. When you step inside, you're greeted to a bench that's vastly more comfortable than what's found in many other hot rods. In fact, the whole interior feels downright plush. But this is a speed machine, not a complete coddler. So, beyond that is a full set of gauges, including a large speedo and tach. The package is completed with a TCI gearshift that's always within reach.
