Collectible Motorcar of Atlanta is excited to offer this one of a kind 1970 Mach 1 Mustang restomod, featuring a second generation 5-liter Coyote engine! With this engine from a 2017 Mustang GT, this car has both the performance and reliability one would expect from a new Mustang along with the timeless aesthetic of a Mach 1. This car has just undergone an extensive restoration with less than 600 miles since completion. It has been built to perform, producing 426-wheel horsepower (dyno charts included) with a Boss 302 intake manifold, true dual exhaust and tune. The power is delivered through a smooth shifting MT-82 manual transmission also from a 2017 Mustang and a fresh Spec stage 2 clutch. The handling and stopping match the power as well, featuring a Wilwood master cylinder, massive Wilwood calipers with drilled rotors on each corner, Heidts front suspension with coilovers and Caltrac traction bars.
The interior has been updated as well with Dakota Digital gauges, new carpet with Dynamat sound deadening underneath, 2012 Mustang leather seats and late model Mustang pedals. The Air conditioning has been refreshed as well and blows ice cold! Sitting on a set of tasteful American Racing VN510 18/19” wheels wrapped in fresh sticky Nitto tires, the stance gives the car an aggressive look and puts the power down excellent.
