1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 41k Miles!!!! 5 Speed!!!
This 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 spent several years in Wisconsin before being purchased by a gentleman in 2014 from Pennsylvania. In 2019 the car was purchased by the current owner that resides in Georgia. The car is finished in Rosso Alfa over black cloth and is powered by a 2.5-liter Busso V6 paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. Maintenance in July 2019 included servicing the shifter linkage, replacing the CV boots, and repairing the air conditioning system. This GTV6 is now offered with service records since 2014, a clean Carfax report, a new set of floor mats, and a clean Georgia title in the seller's name.
The Guigiaro-designed fastback coupe's bodywork is finished in Rosso Alfa (AR530), with exterior features including a sunroof, black US-market bumpers, a chin spoiler, and the hood bulge distinct to the GTV6 model. The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage.
17” Tecnomagnesio alloy wheels have been added and wear Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires (215/45/ZR17). The GTV6 model features independent front suspension while out back is a de Dion tube with coil springs and a Watts linkage, as well as inboard rear brakes.
The cabin is trimmed in black velour with light pinstripes over bolstered seats at the front and rear. A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel has been added, as has a wooden gearshift knob. A Toshiba cassette stereo is mounted in the factory position. A new set of Alfa Romeo floor mats are included with the sale. The air conditioning has the premium Tropical Air option and is in excellent working condition.
Veglia instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer and a central 7k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 41503K miles,
The front-mounted, fuel-injected 2.5L Busso V6 features hemispherical combustion chambers with single-overhead camshafts using transverse pushrods to operate the exhaust valves. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle. A brand new clutch pack has been installed 3/14/2021. The current owner has spent over 10k in maintenance on the GTV and is ready for the road.
The Carfax report first updates in 1994 and lists no accidents or other damage.
Included with the sale is 4 additional ignition keys and one rare blank door key, the original broacher and owners manual and original Pennsylvania registration plates.
