Pontiac gave the Firebird a sleek restyling in 1991, and it only lasted through the next year. So, the unique beak-like pointed front fascia and ground effects are becoming quite sought-after today. Beyond that, is the sporty full round gauge cluster. Because this was the top-of-the-line car for Pontiac, it comes loaded with features like power windows, power locks, alarm, power steering, power mirrors, cruise control, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. And the air conditioning is running modern R134a refrigerant to keep you cool today and easy servicing down the road.
GM's venerable 305 cubic inch (AKA 5.0 liter) V8 makes great V8 sounds and has a solid whack of torque at any speed, making the Trans Am a lot of fun to drive. A T-5 5-speed manual transmission and 3.42 gears make the most of the 5.0's torque yet offer relaxed cruising on the highway.
