This rare and exquisite 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS is a gem for enthusiasts and collectors alike. Every steering component is new, including shocks, ball joints, tie rod ends, Pitman arm, idler arm, etc. It boasts a complete California Performance Parts front tubular control arm kit, custom front springs, and Hotchkis custom rear leaf springs.

The car features power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, rear subframe connectors, and Cal Trac traction control bars. It rides on stunning Weld Racing Pro Star wheels with Nitto 275/60 x 15 drag radials on the rear and 195/75 x 15 on the front.

Under the hood lies a monstrous engine (approx. 640 HP) with a 540 cu/in Merlin II cylinder block, Callies Dragon Slayer crankshaft, Howards billet steel rods, J/E pistons, Lunati Voodoo series hydraulic roller cam, and much more. The Canfield ported cylinder heads and 950 CFM Ultra HP carburetor ensure breathtaking performance, while the MSD ignition system with rev limiter adds reliability and control.

The exhaust system is nothing short of impressive, featuring Hooker Super Comp headers and a 3" exhaust pipe leading to Flowmaster 3" large case race mufflers. The sound is authoritative, sometimes setting off car alarms in its vicinity.

The transmission is a heavily modified Turbo 400 with Gear Vendors overdrive unit, providing 4 or 6 speeds and is built to handle the immense power and torque. The torque converter is a Pro Edge 9”/3200 stall with a billet front end for severe duty.

Additionally, it has a 3" driveshaft with 1350 U joints and a DTS 12 bolt pos. rear with 3.73 ratio, featuring 1/2" lugs in heavy forged alloy non-tapered axles.

Despite its power and performance, this Camaro is very streetable. It has successfully been driven on several 500-mile round trips to events without any issues. It also comes with a quality HD radio/CD system with front and rear speakers, providing excellent sound at cruising speeds.
